ViDo Bed and Breakfast guest house is situated in Merrivale on the outskirts of the historical town of Howick, in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, close to Pietermaritzburg. It is set in a mature park like garden with a country atmosphere. Visitors wake up to the sounds of a farm and bird song.

Guests can enjoy the tranquil atmosphere on a spacious verandah (stoep) which has a built-in braai, pool table, and relaxation facilities. Rooms have access to the welcoming pool and TV lounge. We strive to make our guests' stay as comfortable and pleasurable as possible with tastefully decorated rooms - Cinnamon, Lavender Lace, Sombrero and Sahara all of which have en-suite bathrooms, TV facilities, tea/coffee making facilities, electric blankets and private access. Breakfast is served in the spacious dining room or on the patio overlooking the gardens and pool. A wholesome breakfast is included in our rates and dinners are served by prior arrangement.
